IMS ønsker ePortfolio brukstilfeller

En prosjektgruppe i IMS arbeider med behov knyttet til spesifikasjonen ePortfolio, og etterlyser nå innspill fra sektoren for å fokusere og prioritere arbeidet.

The IMS ePortfolio specification v1.0 was released in June 2005. Since this time valuable experience has been developed working with the specification and ePortfolio technology and practice has matured. The IMS ePortfolio PUFSIG is seeking input from the e-learning community to help focus and prioritize the effort . Please help us identify your broad areas of interest in ePortfolio by taking a brief survey at http://eportfolio.questionpro.com

IMS GLC and the PUFSIG participants are keen to encourage your participation in this use case gathering process, both so that your organization is aware of this open profile and prototype effort and, as a result of this wider consultation, greater interoperability can be achieved with less proprietary extensions to the specification(s) Please send any usescases to: usecase@imsglobal.org by 17 January 2008.

Usecases can contain:

  1. Documentation of experience evaluating or implementing the existing specification
  2. Documentation of the data model of ePortfolios within your environment (i.e. what types of items and relationships between the items do they include, whether or not you've tried mapping these to the specification).
  3. Use cases for the areas that the PUFSIG are currently investigating.

Thank you for supporting the ePortfolio work. Please feel free to forward this request to interested parties.
