Må ha det, bare må ha det! - Om fenomenet Learning Management System (LMS)

Abstract
LMS is becoming more widespread, in organizations as well as in schools and higher education, institutions both nationally as well as internationally. In this article I aim to present an overview of the phenomenon and the growing critical debate. With Science and Technology Studies (STS) as a theoretical background, I wish to higlight that LMS is one of several possible solutions to challenges related to learning and competence development today, and not the only solution, by some necesseary inner technological logic.

Abstract
The following is excerpted from a white paper produced for the Catherine and John MacArthur Foundation as part of their launch of a new initiative on Youth and Digital Learning. In this first part, we establish how the opportunities and risks posed by the new participatory culture force us to reassess media education for the 21st century. In the second installment, we will identify a framework of social skills and cultural competencies that we feel should be the foundations for this new media literacy education.

Skola 2021 - Framtidens skola, kunskap och lärande

Abstract
In an ever changing society the school system faces new challenges. The question is how the school will meet tomorrows needs and demands? Therefore Kairos Future, an international research and consulting firm that helps companies understand and shape their futures, decided to start the Schooling 2021 Project. This paper provides a brief overview of the results of the Swedish school survey, a study that will continue both through international co-operations and advanced studies as well as strategy-work in Swedish municipalities.
